Winter Vaccination Campaign – FREE NHS FLU & COVID VACCINATIONS

Starting 1st October 2026

Flu Vaccines: For eligible patients aged 18+ (65 and over, pregnant women, those with certain long-term health conditions, carers, care home residents, and frontline health and social care workers)

COVID Vaccines: For eligible patients (75+, care home residents, and those who are immunosuppressed)

Clinic Hours: Tues/Wed/Thurs: 10am–3pm


No appointment needed from 13th October – walk-ins welcome! You can also book your flu and/or COVID vaccination directly with the pharmacy by clicking the "Bookable" tab here, through the NHS website linked below, or by calling the pharmacy

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD)
  • Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a common condition that affects the middle part of your vision. It usually first affects people in their 50s.
  • It does not cause total blindness, but it can make things like reading and recognising faces difficult.
  • Without treatment, your vision may get worse. This can happen gradually over several years, before it can then get worse quickly over a few weeks or months.
  • The exact cause is unknown. It's been linked to things such as ageing, smoking, high blood pressure, being overweight and having a family history of AMD.
