Winter Vaccination Campaign – FREE NHS FLU & COVID VACCINATIONS

Starting 1st October 2026

Flu Vaccines: For eligible patients aged 18+ (65 and over, pregnant women, those with certain long-term health conditions, carers, care home residents, and frontline health and social care workers)

COVID Vaccines: For eligible patients (75+, care home residents, and those who are immunosuppressed)

Clinic Hours: Tues/Wed/Thurs: 10am–3pm


No appointment needed from 13th October – walk-ins welcome! You can also book your flu and/or COVID vaccination directly with the pharmacy by clicking the "Bookable" tab here, through the NHS website linked below, or by calling the pharmacy

The New Medicine Service is a Free NHS service, offered through your pharmacy, to help you understand your condition and get the most out of your new medicine.

The New Medicine Service is a Free NHS service, offered through your pharmacy, to help you understand your condition and get the most out of your new medicine.
The service is for individuals who have been received a first prescription for a new medicine to treat any of the following conditions: Asthma, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD), Lung conditions such as Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema, Type 2 Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, Osteoporosis, Gout, Glaucoma, Heart failure, Coronary heart disease, Atrial fibrillation, conditions where you take a medicine to control the way your blood clots (Anticoagulants and Antiplatelets), and Depression (for adults aged 18 and over).

  • Help you to find out more about the new medicine you are taking.
  • Help to sort out any problems you are having with your new medicine.
  • Give you a chance to ask questions about your medicine and discuss any concerns.
  • Help to improve the effectiveness of your new medicine, for example, there may be an easier or better way to take it.
  • Help you to make your own decisions about managing your condition.
  • Help you to improve your health, which could lead to fewer GP and hospital visits.
