Winter Vaccination Campaign – FREE NHS FLU & COVID VACCINATIONS

Starting 1st October 2026

Flu Vaccines: For eligible patients aged 18+ (65 and over, pregnant women, those with certain long-term health conditions, carers, care home residents, and frontline health and social care workers)

COVID Vaccines: For eligible patients (75+, care home residents, and those who are immunosuppressed)

Clinic Hours: Tues/Wed/Thurs: 10am–3pm


No appointment needed from 13th October – walk-ins welcome! You can also book your flu and/or COVID vaccination directly with the pharmacy by clicking the "Bookable" tab here, through the NHS website linked below, or by calling the pharmacy

The NHS Health Check, a free NHS-funded health check-up for people aged 40-74, is available at our pharmacy and aims to identify early signs of health problems like stroke, kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and dementia.

Who is it for ?
The NHS Health Check is offered to people aged 40 to 74 who are not known to have a pre-existing condition.
Why is it Important ?
It helps identify individuals at increased risk of certain health conditions and provides advice and support to improve health outcomes.
What Happens during the Check ?
At a pharmacy, a pharmacist will ask about your health and family history, measure your blood pressure, height, and weight, and may take a small blood sample.
What are the Benefits ?
The check can help you understand your risk of developing health problems and provides personalized advice on how to improve your health through lifestyle changes.
